From January 1, 2025, entrance fees at
tourist attractions, cultural works, historical sites and museums in Hanoi and
some provinces and cities will change.
Accordingly, implementing Resolution No. 44/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2024
of Hanoi City on collecting entrance fees at cultural works, historical sites
and museums in Hanoi, entrance fees at some places will change and be adjusted
from January 1, 2025.
Specifically, from January 1, 2025, Hanoi Museum will charge an entrance fee of
30,000 VND/person. Free admission for children under 16 years old; people with
severe disabilities, according to current regulations. Hanoi Museum also offers
a 50% discount on entrance fees for beneficiaries of preferential policies, the
elderly, people with severe disabilities, students.
The Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center also announced that from
January 1, 2025, the entrance fee at the Central Area of the Imperial Citadel of
Thang Long - Hanoi will increase from VND 70,000/person/ to VND 100,000/person/.
This price applies to both Vietnamese and international visitors.
However, the Relic Site still gives priority to the following groups: free
entrance tickets for children under 16 years old, people with severe
disabilities. 50% reduction in fees for people with severe disabilities, the
elderly aged 60 and over; students aged 16 and over; subjects entitled to
preferential policies on cultural enjoyment; people in disadvantaged communes,
mountainous areas and remote areas; people with revolutionary contributions,
disabled people, lonely elderly people, students of ethnic boarding schools.
At the same time, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center will open
to visitors the Hanoi Flag Tower from January 1, 2025. The Hanoi Flag Tower (Ky
Dai), formerly belonging to the Vietnam Military History Museum, was just handed
over from the Ministry of National Defense to the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage
Conservation Center on December 25. This is one of the symbols of the capital,
so opening it for visitors to visit and experience will be an opportunity for
many people to understand this special historical relic.
At the relics in the Old Quarter, from January 1, 2025, the entrance fee to the
relics at 22 Hang Buom and the Heritage House at 87 Ma May, Hoan Kiem District
is 20,000 VND/person. The fee collection unit is the Management Board of Hoan
Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter.
